Recently I've noticed a lot of multiple posts on the message boards, it's really so annoying, so could people please just press enter once? Thanks. Or if you're competing to try and be the person who has the most posts, couldn't you at least be a bit original and create your own!
I've noticed this, too; but I don't think most people do it intentionally. People probably press enter a few too many times when the server is running slow, thinking this will help get their message posted. I've just learned to sit and wait it out, and usually it only takes a few seconds before things start moving again.
Guys, there had been a board post on !announcements! about that. And sometimes - I know it is not that often - but sometimes you just press enter twice without wanting to, very fast, and suddenly there are two board posts.
it's not everyone that does it. only a select few. but still you're all rite. wait it out
Community leaders can take double posts away, but is it that bad? Is it that annoying?
as I've mentioned, more times then I can count, if you see duplicate posts, report it to one of the CLs if they're on the cite. If they're not online, use the report problem feature, and tell us which users are posting the duplicates! Then, it'll be really easy, and much faster for us to remove the duplicate posts, since none of us have the time to go through every single topic on the boards, just to remove the board posts. A lot of people have already been utilizing the report problem with post feature, and we respond to the reports as fast as we can, and deal with the problems! The more of you that start to use it, the better for you, and for us. You'd make our job lots easier.
